Wondering which RAILBLAZA products work best with your favorite boat accessories? Need to know the best way to attach your mounts? Have questions about battery life? You’ve come to the right place. We’ve gathered our most common customer questions here, in one convenient spot.

A: We broke some stuff in a college materials lab to find out. Check out the video.

Because our mounts are used in so many ways by so many people, it is impossible to determine maximum loads for each situation. Still, safety is important. Download our maximum load information sheet here. Please remember, the maximum load in your situation may be much less than the maximum static load quoted on this sheet.

A: We sell a variety of user-friendly camera mounting options. In addition to our standard product range, many people customize our system to fit their individual needs. Our four standard mount options include:

A: The MiniPort TracMount is a light-duty mount ideal for use with deck-mounted tracks from YakAttack, Wilderness Systems, Native Watercraft and other brands. It can be inserted and tightened in place simply by turning the MiniPort, and removed by turning the other way.

A: The mount you use will depend on where your rod holder should be situated. While thousands of standard StarPorts around the world are holding rod holders for trolling, the StarPort HD, with its four fixing points and larger footprint, applies less stress to the deck — and provides for less flex.
A: Yes, you can! The RIBPort is made from high-quality, non-leaching PVC to ensure a long life. This material will successfully bond to both Hypalon and PVC inflatable tubes.
A: While the StarPort HD’s hole pattern makes it interchangeable with Scotty, RAM, Attwood, Fish-on and many other brands, only the StarPort HD has the unique styling, low profile and locking slide of a RAILBLAZA mount. This makes it less likely to get in your way, and it looks better when fitted.
A: Most stand up assist bars are constructed of 1-inch tube. The RailMount 19-25 is the best fit for this application.
A: The RailMount 32-41 is ideal for use on the Adventure Island and Tandem Island series rails. Want to see for yourself? Check out our YouTube video.

A: The RailMount 32-41 is ideal for use with the Hobie PA, and also on the AKA arms for the Adventure Island and Tandem Island. Check out our YouTube video to see them in action.
The RAILBLAZA StarPort comes with the stainless-steel fasteners required to mount it to many surfaces. It also comes with a surface mount collar. Depending on where you want to install your StarPort, you can either recess mount it so it stands only 17mm (0.6”) high, or surface mount it by drilling two screw holes. For more information, specifications, drawings and installation videos, see the StarPort page.
A: The RAILBLAZA Rod Holder II is suitable for spinning reels, bait casting reels, boat reels and fly reels. Basically, it will hold any fishing rod/pole with a diameter less than 37mm (1.45″). The rotating collar allows you to secure the reel, providing an extra level of security.
A: While we recommend having a professional service center attach your RIBPort to your inflatable, there are other options. Many retailers sell patch kits or adhesive for use on both Hypalon and PVC tubes. In the United States, for instance, West Marine sells a glue for this purpose.

You can mount your RIBPort this way, but we recommend using 3MVHB, which is included in your RIBPort purchase.
